Different underwriters structure their policies in different ways and most have an upper age limit.

Our own policy can't cover someone over the age of 85 and only up to the age of 75 under a Europe annual policy or 65 under a Worldwide, annual policy.

However, we do have links with other insurers who might be able to help.

If you have a medical condition, try to have it covered by the Travel Plus policy first (Free Spirit is designed to cover a wider range of medical conditions and can be more expensive). Call the medical screening line first on 0845 230 5555. If that policy can cover you, they will give you a reference number. Then call P J Hayman's sales line on 0845 230 0631.

If you can't be covered under the Travel Plus policy, the medical screening line will talk to you about the Free Spirit policy.
