Backpacker Travel Insurance

backpacker travel insuranceIt really is important to arrange your backpacker travel insurance. We know it's probably the least exciting thing to think about when you're involved in choosing the exciting places you want to visit and things you want to do.

However, when visiting those places and doing those things, the last thing you need to happen is for something to go wrong (and it does, sometimes!) and not to have the kind of protection that our backpacker travel insurance provides.

Our policy has been designed with the backpacker's needs in mind. It's a comprehensive policy that will insure you against

  • Cancellation and curtailment
  • Medical expenses
  • Personal possessions
  • Personal liability
  • Scheduled airline failure
  • Travel dispute professional fees
  • Natural catastrophe

Because many backpakers like to try out activities and sports on their trip, we've included a wide rvariety of these in the basic premium. If you want to take part in anything a little more adventurous, we can probably cover you for that too; you may need to pay a bit more if it's a more risky activity.

The following activities, when participated in for recreational purposes and are incidental to your trip and not organised competitions or in any professional capatity, are not regarded as hazardours sports:

  • Football
  • Golf
  • Racket Ball
  • Rambling
  • Roller Skates
  • Rounders
