Important information if others are travelling with you
If you have a pre-existing medical condition that we're covering for you, anyone else travelling with you should also be covered by this policy. Then, if you have to cancel, cut short or extend your trip for reasons related to your pre-existing medical condition, your travelling companions will also be able to make a claim.
This is excellent protection for them. The danger of them not being insured by the same policy as you is that if they made a claim and the other insurer felt it was linked to your pre-existing medical condition, their claim could be declined.
Similarly, if there is someone at home who is ill and whose health could increase the possibility of you making a claim to cancel or cut short your trip, this should be declared to us. |
