Most 'High Street' insurers won't provide life assurance if you have a pre-existing medical condition, which, of course, diabetes is. However, we work with a very specialist insurer. However, please note: the policy is intended for residents of the European Union only. Because of advances in treatment for diabetes, our specialist provider is able to provide life assurance cover in situations where others refuse. Obviously, it will depend on your individual circumstances and we will need to obtain some information from you in order to be able to let you know if cover is possible. The whole subject of life assurance can be a little difficult to think or talk about at the best of times. However, if we're honest and open whilst also being sensitive, we can try to ensure your needs are met. If you have a joint mortgage, you may well want to ensure that the policy will pay out enough to cover it. You may want to ensure that there's enough to cover funeral expenses. If you have children, you might want to leave them some money as a gift. You might wish to do the same for other members of your family or even friends. Alternatively, you can tell us how much you'd like to pay per month and we will then let you know how much cover that would provide. These are practicalities that, when arranged, will hopefully give you peace of mind. You can then get on with living your life! Happily, you need to provide only a limited amount of information in order for us to be able to tell you if cover can be provided and, if so, what the monthly premium would be. Please click here to go to the application form. We are normally able to get back to you within 4 working days with the insurer's decision. If you have diabetes and would like travel insurance, please click here to go to our travel insurance home page. |
