We can quote you for travel insurance even if a medical condition has been diagnosed as terminal or if you have a critical illness.

There are many situations where an illness could fall into this category - for example, if you have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Virtually all travel insurance policies automatically exclude any cover for terminal illnesses.

We will take into account each person's circumstances and do our best to provide a quotation for you. However, we're sure you can appreciate that we can't guarantee to provide cover in every case. Also, we're sure you will understand that providing cover when someone's illness has a terminal prognosis can be very risky and so the premium may well be very high.

What will we cover?

Having gone through our medical screening service, if we accept to provide cover for you, you will have the same protection that any of our other clients have. For example:

• Medical expenses if you need consultations, treatment, medication, hospitalisation etc even if related to your terminal illness
• Repatriation to the UK (under the supervision of a nurse or doctor if necessary)
• Extra travel/accommodation costs for a travelling companion (provided they have also taken out insurance with us)
• All other types and level of cover listed under the type of policy you have chosen and which are shown on your policy schedule

If you have a terminal illness, we cannot emphasise strongly enough how important it is that you have adequate and appropriate travel insurance.
