Who is eligible for a No Minimum Residency policy?
Unlike our other products, the No Minimum Residency policy doesn’t require you to have been resident in the UK for a minimum period. You don’t need to be a permanent UK resident, as long as you have unrestricted access to the UK and are eligible for treatment under the NHS.
Perhaps you have just moved to the UK to live, whether that’s temporary or on a permanent basis, with a work or study visa, and now you wish to travel abroad – This policy is designed for you.
Am I covered for repatriation?
Yes, but please be aware that repatriation will be back to the UK.
If I caught COVID-19 abroad, would I be covered?
All It’s So Easy policies include cover for emergency medical expenses which includes those associated with COVID-19 whilst abroad.
Who underwrites your No Minimum Residency policies?
Our Left UK policies are underwritten by Millstream Underwriting Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority FRN 308584.
Do I need to declare all of my pre-existing medical conditions?
Yes. For your cover to remain valid, you need to declare any pre-existing medical condition that falls within our declaration questions. If you fail to disclose relevant medical information, then you may not be fully covered in the event of a claim.
Do you need to know the names of the medication I take?
We do not need the names of the medication or the dosage, only the condition that the medication is prescribed to treat or prevent.
Am I covered for cancellation?
Cancellation cover is provided from the point of sale up until your departure from the UK.
What is the maximum age you can cover?
Our One Way Trip policy is available up to the age of 79.
How do I change an existing policy?
If you need to amend your policy because you have noticed a problem or error with your documents, want to amend the name of an insured person, add a new person to the policy, purchase an additional cover option or tell us about a change in your health or medication, please contact us by telephone so we can update our records and arrange to send your amended documentation by email.
