The Government have announced the latest changes to the three-tier traffic light system for international travel which renews our hope in 2021 summer holidays. Several travel hotspots have been moved to the green list, meaning travellers will not have to isolate on return to the UK. Countries placed on the green or amber watch lists are under close review and may be moved to another tier depending on the latest COVID-19 assessment.
Cover is available with It's So Easy Travel Insurance to both Green and Amber list countries, but only to destinations where no advice against all or all but essential travel exists from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Whilst a country may have been placed in Green or Amber tiers, this does not mean the FCDO are allowing travel unless essential. All travellers must check the latest advice for their chosen destination at Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office - Travel Advice before purchasing insurance or travelling.

Based on the latest COVID-19 risk assessment, from 4am on 30th June, the following changes will be made to the traffic light lists:

Israel and Jerusalem have been moved from Green to Green watch list.
